CyberSecure Standard - What do I do if I go over my quota?

Here are some options you can try to reduce the amount of your data on our server.

  1. Lower your retention policy
    • Your retention policy defines how many previous versions of a file are kept on our server. So if you lower your retention policy, it will mean less data stored on the server.
    • Your retention policy can be found in the backup settings tab which is shown with the gear icon gear icon
  2. Uncheck 'backup file permissions' in the backup settings
    • If the checkbox is checked, then any file permission changes will be treated as a completely new file, and be uploaded again.

  3. Send us an email requesting your quota be raised.
    All you need to do is contact us via email, and state what you want your quota to be upgraded to, and we'll do that for you.
