CyberSecure Standard & Advanced - How to install

Setting up a paid CyberSecure account

  1. Purchase a CyberSecure account at the online ordering page.
  2. Upon ordering, an email will be delivered to you, containing download links for the CyberSecure software

  3. Once your payment has been approved and processed, an additional email will be sent to you, containing your account details, including your login name and temporary password.

  4. Now you have the software and user details, install CyberSecure by opening the link sent to you in the initial email.

  5. Follow the prompts. Generally the default settings are suitable for most installations.
  6. Now that CyberSecure is installed, run the software, either from the start menu on Windows® or in the Applications folder on Mac OS®.
  7. The initial screen displayed will be the trial registration dialog, as you have already activated an account, select the "Already a user" link at the bottom-left of the dialog.

  8. Copy & paste the temporary password received in the activation email sent to you from CyberSecure. Your temporary password will be sent to you once your payment has been processed.
  9. Once you've successfully copied & pasted your temporary password you will be prompted to create a new password. Ensure your password has at least 6 characters and a combination of letters & numbers.

  10. Click OK and you're now ready to setup your backup.
